
Michael Mokotoff
Managing Director, GCM Grosvenor Opportunistic Investments
Mr. Mokotoff leads research for the Strategic Investments Group. Prior to joining GCM Grosvenor, Mr. Mokotoff was a Managing Director, Head of Research, and Management Committee Member at JHL Capital Group LLC, where he was responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing public markets investments. Prior to joining JHL, Mr. Mokotoff was an Associate at Code Hennessy & Simmons LLC, a private equity firm specializing in control equity investments. Mr. Mokotoff began his career as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of UBS in Los Angeles, advising both financial sponsors and corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. Mokotoff received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Master of Business Administration, with dual majors in Finance and Management and Organizations, from the Kellogg School of Management. Mr. Mokotoff is a member of The Francis W. Parker School Board of Trustees.
